(BOSTON) January 1, 2002 Scientek Inc.  is renamed as OneScience, Inc. after unanimous vote by its board of directors. “The name change has a lot to do with our branding strategy” according to Eric Celidonio, President of OneScience, Inc. “One of our goals is creating a One-Stop for clients looking to recruit in the life sciences and we think the name adds intuitively to this.” The company is focused on recruitment of life science professionals through a network, recruiting model that involves connecting independent recruiters in various segments of life science industry.

Along with the name change OneScience has added new functionality that includes more collaborative content and a job-search feature as well as industry news and information postings. ‘We feel that in order to drive the site forward we need to offer as much relevant and stimulating content as possible.
